wooden boxes where from

Heyas peeps, decided I fancy having a go at making a squonker box, was thinking a 26650 battery mossfet pot 12mm switch and fdv squonking kit thingy.
Problem is my carpentry skills are not up to building a box myself, lacking tools to do it nicely so I'm after a wood box .
Anyone know where to get such a thing?

I'd love one in stabilised stained wood but that's me just being fussy lol.

To be honest VapingBad he only seems to make limited runs of tiny boxes that you can only just get an 18650 in and as a vendor needs to brush up on customer service.
Although ive bought a number of boxes off him i wont be getting anymore. The only way you can contact him is via Facebook and when you do your lucky if he ever responds.
What we need is a woodworking guy in the uk with the right gear to produce some descent cnc boxes. That way we wouldn't have to rely on the Italian's who seem to have the monopoly on wood boxes.

 the best way to produce that would be to work from a sample rather than dimensions if anybody has an old redundant 1 kicking around i could give you better idea its evidently not a 10minute job and im guessing a labour of love to most

If you can produce something like this.
55cm wide by 85 high by 27 deep with 4mm thick walls that would give someone enough room for an 18650, squonk bottle and chip.

follow @vapingbads link above to the italian box maker, his facebook pictures will give you a good idea especially the modelling to accommodate the pcb..

checked his website out the mans certainly set up to produce large quantities of these boxes and at a very reasonable price considering the price these exotic woods cost, i have worked with these cnc machines on large and small scale when they go wrong they go very wrong he also has a very good idea of these machines being an ex maker the software programs can be very difficult aswell. if i knocked these up for you lads im not going to guarantee the quality his will be, mine will be hand made useing routers and moulders, in actual fact im quite envious of the guys setup only a few weeks back i spoke to a rep about these machines and contemplated if the machine could pay for itself in a business enviroment i could add boxes and atty stands to the list of jobs for it,making the odd box or stand here and there isnt enough to justify the cost of a half decent setup i will review the situation and see if i can make the odd 1 or 2 for members by hand before i commit myself before making these available fitting this into an allready busy work load will be my hardest part however i will keep you guys informed sorry for the long winded reply just my thoughts thinking out loud

The modmaker wooden boxes are a steal for £20 but there a bit on the long side for a pocket friendly squonka.
igual is 26650 batt correct in the OP?

Fair play, cant fault you on that Id be the same.
On the plus side youll get a 30ml bottle next to the battery for never ending squonking..
All theses 18650 boxes arent going to be any use then youll need a 1 off box knocking up.

If you get stuck though I could probably knock a rough box with a jigsaw cover (dunno if its the right term but its what i call em) to fit a 26650 bat out of oak but youll have to finish it off with the hole drilling and final sanding as I hates sanding.
