Hi, not posted in a while but have recently purchased one of the above from Fasttech but I'm struggling to get it working properly. Does anyone know if it works with a Vivi Nova tank cos it ain't working very well with mine. Also when I screw the adaptor in it doesn't work at all. Any info will be gratefully received :-)

Does anyone know if it works with a Vivi Nova tank cos it ain't working very well with mine. Also when I screw the adaptor in it doesn't work at all. Any info will be gratefully received :-) It has a spring loaded 510 pin so should work with most tanks. Not got a nova to have a look. Maybe the nova has a shorter 510 pin and does not make a great connection. The connector/adaptor is not spring loaded so first port of call would be to nudge the pin out a touch on the bottom of it and lift the pin up on the top of it. Looking at the connector/adaptor it does look quite deep so could well be that the 510 on the nova is to short. You could try pulling the pin out a touch on the nova but it may well just push back in.

Thanks for your reply, however the problem seems to be that the pin is too far up rather than too far down, ie, if I screw my Vivi Nova down too much the battery just locks up. I think I'll need to try a different type of tank cos I only use Vivi Nova's.

After faffing about it does appear to work as long as the tank isn't screwed down too much ie, very lightly indeed. Screw it down too much and the firing button locks up. Weird. Thanks for your suggestions anyway. Much appreciated.

a 510 to ego adaptor may be a temporary solution?? you may have one bundled with the mod? failing that one or 2 soft rubber washers to fill the gap between the mod and atty base might be all you need to stop the gap from nagging at you to screw it on further ...

Thanks, makes sense that. I'll give it a go.
