Hi hijack ! certainly is a great deal cheaper. Sure is! I did what you've just done and and put a starter kit together, I thing it was 100mlx72mg PG, 500ml PG&VG and an assortment of syringes etc. hope you got one of these. The 30ml syringe with the plastic long tube needle. The most used out of them all, you wont get VG to go through, the thin metal needles(not without a hell of a fight) I haven't looked back. First time is a bit of a fiddle as you are learning on the job. After a few mixes you'll start to change the order you do things, so as not to make a big mess in the process. I have found starting with the flavoring is best, then you can usually use same syringe and needle for the PG-Nic, Then on to the Big syringe and plastic Needle for PG. Last but not least, the VG, Messy stuff so leaving this till last will save you a big clean-up at the end. When finished I have the 2 syringes that i can then clean up under the tab. Minimal Mess. Starting with the thinnest and so on, you save having to clean between liquids. VG will run out first so get a couple of 200ml bottles from Boots in the high street and pour into the 500ml bottle if thats what you got the VG in leaving you a couple of nice glass bottles. (its labeled 'vegetable glycerin' , child medication for soar throats.). Happy Days.

As i now do my 50/50 mix 200ml at a time, I have to fill the 30ml syringe 3 and a bit times when i get to the VG part of the recipe.

When mixing larger quantities, use a bottle with a wide neck and use the 20ml syringe without a needle. I pour enough VG into a tea cup and hoover it up from that rather than inserting a needle into a VG bottle and waiting 5 minutes while the VG SLOWY enters the syringe! However, as I have discovered to my cost, the wide end of the syringe without a needle, when inserted into the open neck of a standard 30ml bottle, blocks the opening completely until the back-pressure of air blows the big glob of liquid (that's a new word invented specifically for this description) forcefully out of the neck and explodes all over your face. I have needless to say only done this once!

I'm bad !! .... just ordered some more concentrates with play with I just knew that you would be hooked on this mixing lark! The great thing is, if you don't like a concentrate after you've mixed it, it doesn't cost an arm and a leg, and if you put it away quietly for a month or more, it very often ends up being a great juice with the passage of time!

I've gone for 4 of the chefs vapour chefs choice ones, Raspberry ripple, english trifle, carribean drams & fruit salad chewy - went for 10ml bottles as figured thats only 1.50 down the drain if I don't like them. Hopefully they'll arrive quickly so I can go and play

Good choices - and they all should be pretty much shake-and-vape, although the longer you can resist trying them, the better they will get. You'll be needing more bases before long!! Those concentrates would be good at around 15% to start with

I have seen mention that this range aren't especially strong - so you may need to up the percentage a little to get a good flavour. I've a sneaking suspicion that these could be re-branded CCW concentrates - though I could be completely wrong, but the names are very similar. www.cupcake-world.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=144_189&products_id=1807

thanks for the heads up Perpetua I think on the site it recommended 17% ?? Just checked the Raspberry Ripple and it suggests between 10-20% wibble, your best bet is to give the neat concentrate a taste and see how strong it appears to your tastes, then take it from there. If you just make a small sample mix up, then you can judge from that whether it needs tweaking or not.
