Yesterday - A promising start turns to a bitter end

I've been looking for work for the past week and yesterday morning I get several phone calls saying , "I've got work locally to you , I can get you in for a Monday start" etc etc etc.So , I thought great.
My previous company actually put the right amount of money into my account , much to my surprise.
I got to the metal recyclers and got some money for that.
My son and I go for a McDonalds ( other restaurants are available ) , he behaves and eats it all 
I then go to vanillavapes and get myself a mixing kit and conc's , thanks for the heads up lairey .
We then go and pick up my wife from work and go home.

It took all of 10 minutes after I got home for things to take a turn for the worse.One after another the agencies that said about getting me work , let me down/lied or just to f**king lazy to respond to emails and of course , none of these agencies work on a saturday !
So I thought to myself , let's set up the dripper I just got.I've got it on my stand building it , then transfer it to the MVP 3.0 to see what the ohm's of the coil are ( just a rough guess ) and nothing.I try every combination of button pressing, shaking , swearing etc etc etc , nothing worked.So I have a look at how much it would cost to send it back to where I got it in China , shouldn't have bothered , it costs a lot more to send it thanit actually cost me.Next thought I had is , let's take it apart and see if there is something obvious and after a lot of gentle teasing and tweaking , no , there's no sign of failure that's obvious either.So now I'm left with a mod in pieces that's no good to man or beast and I also don't have a mod that goes over 15 watts , my trusty collection of VTR's performing well.Then I thought I'd have a look to see what's local to me and get another mod that's the same or similar , at least if it goes wrong I can just send it back easily enough , I shouldn't have bothered there either.Either they don't have anything , or their out of stock.
So I decided not to bother looking for a while , but I want to get something tomorrow as I want something to vape with over 15 watts.

I was even worried about going to the toilet for a while , just in case anything fell off !!!

So , if anyone wants any spare MVP 3.0 parts you welcome.

I have an MVP3 Montana and twice when I've put an atty on it that had too low a resistance, it has blanked out. I found the solution which was simply to plug the charger in, leave it for a couple of minutes, it fired up and went through the start up cycle. If you have tried that fair enough and if you are disposing of it I can usually make use of spare parts and will take it off your hands.

Yeah I tried the charger , nothing there either.

I'm just annoyed that it died , so soon after getting it.I know it was cheap , but that's not the point.Added to which I have to make a long journey to anywhere that's decent to get something.Just a pity somewhere like myepack doesn't have a shop or is open on a saturday.As I said earlier , the other places around here , especially the close one are either s**t or don't carry anything that has a reasonable price tag.I do need to get something asap though , I can't do reviews and drip , especially on a VTR.

Hope things pick up bud, vanilla Vapes have MVP 3, SIG mini as well which would be my go for, but if you can afford it a SIG 100+ its a cracking mod.

I was looking at the Sig Mini before I got the MVP 3.0 , after I saw the P Busardo review it put me right off , with it being PWM and silly memory settings thing.I liked it for having the option to change out the battery though.

I already have a mech I can use , but I've found it difficult to get the vape I want , as it's all to do with the coil build , I guess I'm either to fussy , or just crap at builds.I say this because I can't really get on with drippers either ?

I think up until such a time that Innokin decide to actually update their VTR , I'm going to have to have a bit of a compromise.Personally I think that Innokin are missing out on a big sector of smokers.I say this because the VTR appealed to the construction industry as wing rugged and protecting the tank and the 510 threads.
When I have spoken to Innokin about updating the VTR they have just said that it's underselling the rest of their range , when the rest of their range has more features and are cheaper , so of course they are going to sell more , it's common sense.

I'm still really surprised that with all the versions of every box mod from a lot of manufacturers , none of them seem to have the menus and system and lots of other things they should have got right. To me this shows that they don't listen to their customers let alone the reviewers . You would have thought that they would want to look after us , as me might not e able to buy ANYTHING from them soon and I don't just mean in Europe either , that could be from a lot of the U.S States as well , they may have a lot of stock that they can't get rid of if their not careful.

Montana I ordered an eleaf istick 50 watt box mod on the 25th of May (it arrived on the 27th) from eleaf world UK and even with postage it only cost £43. Think it was 25% off retail price!!
I haven't had to charge it yet (constant use) and I am totally in love with it!!
Well worth a shot if you can wait a couple of days!
