what mod do i need for SmokTech GCT ?

hi just ordered from slowtech www.fasttech.com/product/2207603 along with www.fasttech.com/product/2207600 replacement heads ,will this only work on a temp control mod or any mod just not using temp control part...if i need yet another new mod whats best type  to go for ...only had major spluge out nearly spent all my cash...so need to be at the cheaper end of the market,,and i thought id finished all my buying for a while !! thought this would go one the 100w kamry wood ,but dont know if itll work with the ni200 heads,luckily ordered some rebuildable vct/gct heads as well so hopefully this will work i persume they just wont have temp sensor on them listing these as .4 ohm as opposed to ni200 at .2 ohm ,but if i need a temp sensor mod for it what do you recommend ...looks like ill have to to trade offf my ivp mini 2 70w to get one though

just been offered a swap for my ivp mini2 70 w for a H cigar hb dna 40 ..what do you think good way to get into the temp control side of things ?

banditruss - I have no experience of TC at all, and to be honest at the moment I have no inclination to learn, but I'm sure on all the mods that have this facility, you can always turn it off if required.
However, I'm not sure if the nickel builds will work without the TC on - maybe VapingBad or flavourtank, our resident experts, can shed some light on this?

banditruss chykensa is correct that nickel builds should just be used on temp limited devices, some VW mods would work but only the ines that use realtime power limiting like the Evolvs and not ones that take a measurement of coil r first to work out the voltage required for the watts like the IPV2. Nickel is very low resistance, but will more than double it's resistance as it get up to vaping temperatures so would be more than halved if the voltage is kept constant.

The Hcigar HB DNA40 would be a great device for temperature limiting, have a read of first nickle coil build thread to get some first time users experiences it is not as hard as many seem to believe.

These heads should fit in the GCT tank if you want to use just regular kanthal non temp control coils.

hi yes they should fit one of the reasons i've managed to get the rebuildable version...god im tight !

I bought the rebuildable coil because i'm tight too lol
Only used it once then went back to using the stock heads and just rebuilding them, found they perform a lot better than the rebuildable core did.

lol just my luck didn't realise you could rebuild the originals like the subtanks ...so got 3 rebuildables to go on rotation ...are well sell em on i suppose
