Hi, Not sure but I'm worried one of my batteries might be leaking. On the bottom of my aero tank mega is a blue substance that looks like the acid you'd get from an alkaline battery leak - I realise lithium is not the same as alkaline but thought I should check if the principle is the same. Photos below - can't work out which battery it is either, if it is a battery!! Mega tank on the left, kanger vv on the right (doesn't have the same substance on the battery it seems?) The two evod batteries I've used at times also don't have the blue substance. Thanks

Many chemical reactions can occur in steel (or chromed brass and other atomiser materials) that leave a blue residue on the surface. If you hada battery leak it would almost certainly be more obvious.
I'd put my money on the tank reacting with water and air, e liquid or some other material it's came into contact with.

More likely to be the copper verdigris/corrosion from under the chrome plating, as long as it doesn't get into your liquid you should be fine just regularly cleaning with IPA or meths. ETA too slow by thatguy, I have seen cheap eGo clones get this on the 510 a few times.

It may just be natural corrosion, but until your sure it may be wise NOT leave it unattended when your charging it. The last thing you want is a fire from a faulty battery.
