I need a new 510 also.

Just received an icig v9 in trade for some stuff I don't use. The guy didn't tell me the 510 was about stripped. Has anyone fixed one or fancy a go at one. I can't seem to find how it breaks apart.

I got one of these with a fire button that sticks, when I have time I'll take it apart, if I can't see the fire button problem and can get the 510 out I'll post it too yer with some stripped down pics.

Many thanks for that. I can't find a way into it at all. Hope it's no too difficult to breakdown.

Finally got round to looking at the fix and I've got it working. The top part, the black piece that surrounds the 510 and bulb is just stuck on, and there's 4 screws underneath for a simple breakdown. Punched the old 510 out and a little dremel work got a new one to fit, looks very good. Struggled again with the soldering, tinning the new iron was a nightmare to start with but eventually got it sorted (must practice more).

No problem, it was never a rush job and I've been snowed under with other things lately.
