Hi all
I recently managed to bag a gizmo v1 17mm in the classes on another forum and am liking it lots.
I have removed the anodizing between the body and the 510 connector and that has improved things.
I am thinking of changing the switch screw for a brass one. Anyone know what size or where to source one?
I think I remember seeing a thread about reworking the brass strip on the base. Does anyone know what this involves and is it worth it?
I find the fogger mini works really well with this mod, the top fill means you don't even have to take out of the mod to refill.
Any tweaks for the mod would be greatly appreciated. I am afraid I found next to nothing via Google.

spicky this man owes you a beer lol this was my all day set up till sub tanks goblin chinchilla thing came
best thing i did to the gizmo after removing the anodizing round the 510 bit was to modify a 10th scale rc car shocker spring and use it for the switch as it stops the need for incessant cleaning to get a get a good fire(needs to be the large switch) the next bit thats worth doing is to solder a spring to the brass strip this then keeps the batts were they should be with out rattle but also allows you to not use the magnets which do cause a lot of voltage drop i cant rem what the size of the screw is but i just took it out in the ironmongers and this old guy in a blue smock got me a brass one for around 20p
3 things for the mini fogger you will brake the tank and i struggled to get spares but there is a work around the aspire et-s and mini nova tanks can be made to fit wit a little trimming(can be done with a stanley knife) this drove me nuts if you have it running sweet as a nut then for what seems like no reason at all you get nowt but dry hits tighten the tank section up because when its lose the bottom o ring blocks the juice channels now this last one is new to me but i have to say its ruddy amazing
annoying man but im currently running it at 0,6 ohms no leaks and no dry hits
hope that helps a wee bit
opps for got to say i also glued an o'ring to bottom of switch

Thanks guys. Great advice, ivill have a look at springs and get the botton strip modded. I think I know somewhere where I can go and ask about the brass screw. I am guessing a cheese headed would be best.
