resistance checker coming up way too low. have cheap atomiser resistance checker from FT and also an old SMOK SID - they differ from provari by 1.0 ohm Yes there is crud on the connector pin (have tried rubbing alcohol and a cotton bud - not shifted it). Have on it a KFL+ (genuine but played with centre pin so could be that) - any ideas?

Provaris are very prone to this when there is dirt about Jane. As well as the connector pin you should clean the positive connector inside the tube, the negative connector (spring) and even the tops and bottoms of your batteries. Do all these with alcohol and I think you'll find it will settle down

I also find a eraser (rubber) on the end of a pencil very good for removing stubborn dirt on battery connections.

DiscoDes just spent 40p at the great shrine of morrisons for these pencils - they have quite a bit of (for me) Christmas stationery and things I need (yesterday it was string) for less than £1 - first time Morrisons have had anything at the right price for months LOL
