I smoked heavily for over 30 years - on average 50 cigs a day I tried everything else to either give up or at least cut down but nothing worked for me untll I bought my 1st e-cig, almost 7 years ago. I cut down drastically straight away & eventually gave up the last 2 a day I was snoking.

I can still hardly believe I no longer smoke - it's such a brilliant feeling

Hi jessyvapes. I smoked for nearly 40 years before I finally quit. I tried too many times to count with all the other nicotine substitutes, even failed with e-cigs when they first came around. Since finding better vaping gear (and this website), I am approaching my first full year off tobacco. And loving it. I don't think I will quit vaping though as it is not a problem to health, and I just enjoy it.

Beware though. You may find yourself wanting to buy a shed load of gear here.

Was a 20 a dayer for roughly 26 years stopped over a weekend and vaping for just over 3 years now without a single drag on a fag, welcome and I'm sure all you questions will be answered, and in a timely fashion.

I'm in exactly the same position as tim, only I smoked for 42 years and stopped on 2nd April this year and not had a stinky since.

I've had my fair amount of stress since then, currently out of work, had some family problems and my wife still smokes, but through all that I've resisted the urge although I could easily go and have one off the wife right now if I wanted.... but I don't want...

Joined AAEC at the start of the month and now have some proper vaping gear, have been trying lots of different juices as well

I was 20 a day smoker for 20 years.Smoke free for over a year now,not had a stinkie since the day I bought my first kit.Found AAEC(thank God),have better gear now and mix my own juice.So yea,life is pink on the vaping front.
