This is the STRANGEST THING I've seen.. The resistance of my coil has been steadily increasing throughout the day!!
It's a new Kanger dual - coil 1.5 ohm head, the new style ones.. just replaced it's predecessor who seemed to be a dud as it wouldn't fire and just leaked all over.
Started off a 1.6 ohms which is within the 0.2 tolerance that Kanger quote.
This morning it was reading at 1.7.. I thought nothing of it, maybe it's like 1.65ohms and my mod is trying to decide if it should round up or down..
At lunch today it read at 1.9..
And just now it's reading at 2 ohms!!!
What is going on? I've stopped using it for now as I'm worried about my mod having to continually increase the voltage to fire it at 10w...
Likely solution is replace the head (another dud.. UGH..) but I find this scientifically interesting!!
Any thoughts?

(thinking maybe Chinese clones) tbh it's a while since I switched to rebuildables so I'm rusty and can only think of those two things

What are you vaping, some liquids gunk up coils really quickly, and often the resistance of the coils rise with the increased gunk!

It's just gone to 2.1 ohms...
It's dripdropvapour 60vg/40pg salted caramel.
Would it gunk this quickly?? I can try dry burning it..

I use a homemade juice with Cashew Nuts, Salted Caramel & Butterscotch.
It gunks the coils up so much that I have to dry burn every time I fill which is after 1.5 mls.
Have been wondering which of the flavours was responsible. Salted Caramel is now the main suspect.

Okay new symptom
Just went to dry burn it... tiny tiny puff of flame and bam.. dead coil!!!
Got the final one in the pack of 5 on now.. and no matter what I do im getting dry burnt hits!!
I actually hope they sold me shoddy coils because I don't want to end up hating Kanger products.. they're my favorite.

Subtank RBA is being read correctly a 0.5 ohms and vaping happily still, so.. definitely the aerotank or its coils
If the Kanger QR code isn't leading to a website that loads.. that mean they're not genuine?
