Totally agree with you Bluefish . Many of my staples get mixed at 200ml minimum (old boots VG bottles) then dispensed into ye olde 30ml bottles. But some mixes actually get worse with aging such as Green Astaire. It is good from day 1 to about 5 weeks later then deteriorates and is rank after a few months. So how big I mix depends on how liquids steep. Some still get the 30ml treatment, some get multiple 200ml bottles at a time. And using 5ml bottles for test mixes now to cut costs since I'm experimenting a lot. I a few weeks back made a mix to T Juice Jaques le mon , I made if i remember correctly 200ml, and at first it was as expected, awesome, but on later tastings it was as if it had gone flat? so in future it's maybe a juice to only make 100ml at a time. Whereas I just made 445ml of Heisenberg, and it's going down well, nom nom

Yeah some juices seem to "unsteep" after a while. TJuice jack the ripple is a prime example. It peaks at about 4-8 weeks then seems to go stale. So I would tend to mix this at 30-50ml and always stay 1 bottle ahead. Others like JJ black gold or Capella cola I can mix multiple 200mls at a time.
Then again we have juices like red astaire that are fire and forget. We can mix when we are low and vape it right away. So yup, different batches sizes for different juices seems to be the way to go.

kirby - hi and a warm welcome to you too! I can vouch for Chef's Vapours, Classikool and T-Juice for vaping mixing gear; all good vendors and excellent prices and selection. The calculator top right of each forum page is easy to use, and if you register you can save all your recipes, privately if you wish, so that they are always available for reference in the future. Don't be afraid to ask away if you have any questions, there is always someone here to help you out

kirby Perpetua is your lady for all things custardy Mixing wise? You need plastic shot glasses from the pound shops. Various syringes (various sizes. I just use 20ml and 1ml ones for mine - doesn't really matter). Base liquid (am a huge fan of @ukflavours so tagging them ) and propylene glycol (PG) or vegetable glycerine (VG) for diluting or a combination of the two. och and a mixing calculator (various ones, PC/Mac/Android/Iphone - just do a search in the store. A lot are free ) and you're good to go Hope that all makes sense. Och and don't forget your flavourings (though not essential) Jane Do you not find me dearie that the longer you've been doing it, mixing that is, that the bigger it gets? The containers that is, I now need 100ml as a minimum 200 is better and 400 ideal, some people, even on here mix ltrs at a time, and a 20 ml syringe just ain't gonna cut it Er no! I used (i think - not sure) mix 50ml at a time. Now it's about 30mls. Keeps it fresher Unles travelling which then it's about 100-200ml You be needing an espresso Bluefish
