Adjust the switch so there is more movement. And remember to lock it out when not in use.

Should be.
If it takes more switch movement to fire it is a lot less likely to auto fire

The centre pin on the button of the caravela is not an adjustment pin. Just like in a Nemesis it should remain fully tightened. It is possible to loosen it and reduce or eliminate battery rattle but it is not recommended as it can cause autofiring and a major voltage drop in the button, even causing the button to get hot while in use.
Lock the mod when not in use and I'll modify the button next time I see you. I'll need to cut a spring to length to suit whichever clone you have, as the spring should be long enough to to be stiff and have a reasonably short throw, but short enough that it doesn't cause autofiring.

The only time I have had a problem with my Caravela auto-firing was when gardening a couple of weeks ago; I felt a hotness in my pocket, and also slightly damp (oi, no mucky thoughts!); it turned out that i hadn't fully locked the mod and it was firing as I bent down. I let the battery cool down away from the mod, checked it was charging OK, and all good for the time being. I find that my switch works loose especially when I'm using a new battery and it is a tight fit to screw the switch on firmly. once my batteries are a few months old, they dent ever so slightly at the top, and this helps them to seat firmly in the mod. Adjust the top pin using a flat-blade screwdriver of your fingernail if they are long enough, and this should give enough play to get your atty sitting securely and the switch all tight.

Not got a Carvela, but if its like the Nemi, where you screw in the switch until it meets the battery, you could use an O-Ring or washer to give a bit more space between the battery and switch contact. Like so.
I would drop the battery in the Mod and place the O-ring on the bottom of battery, then screw the switch in whilst its still upside down so it doesn't move. Then if it works, permanently fix it to bottom of switch with PVA/Sealent type glue. or if its more like the stingray type you could place an O-ring inside to give a bit more 'travel' whilst still being able to have switch tightened down. This type will need a thinner o-ring as there is much less to play with. Both would give a bit more travel for the switch, but its still going to go off if you stand it up without locking it.

I just had a thought! - o-rings are in vape box in table (gate legged) I moved into cloak cupboard (tight squeeze) the other night. LOL And I have a sprained hand LOL It could well be more dangerous for me to get to o-rings then fix the mod LOL
