I came across this plug socket last night whilst browsing in my local builders merchant and wondered if it's suitable to charge ecigs? It's 2.1A 5V but I notice my istick says to use a 1A charger, I currently put it in an iphone charger and that seems to work fine. Just wondered what other peoples thoughts were?

The iStick will control how much current it uses and those sockets should be fine, you can get a USB current & voltage metre for a pound or two to check how much current any of your devices use there are pictures of these in the charging guide in my footer.
