I don't think there is such a thing as failed juice. It just probably isn't to your taste. Stick a nice name on it and send it to @tedster - call it Raspberry Ripple or something.

just try it - one drop on you hand and lick it - if it tastes nice - then vape it and you can always add some menthol - then you have a menthol mixture

I just vape it anyway. I do 5 or 10 ml samples then let it sit a while. if it's good I make a bigger batch if not I don't bin it just vape it anyway apart from if it's reeeally disgusting like a recent maple syrup mix which smelt like oil and tasted really nasty. But usually even if I don't like a mix it's still vape-able. I save my recipes in ejuice me up.

There is no such thing as 'failed juice'.
There is just juice and juice that is eventually generously donated to other people.

I tend to mix a new recipe in 5 or 10ml. If I don't like it straight away. I will leave it for 3 or 4 weeks and if it is still bad I bin it. I mixed a Pina Collada mix recently and even after 6 weeks it was still rank so it was put down the sink. The only others have binned are a couple of coffees.
If one is borderline I stick some menthol in, that seems to make it vapable.

I'm in the waste not, want not camp as well. The only stuff that has gone down the sink is old pre-made stuff that I haven't been able to tweek to finish it & anything & everything that I've bought or made with blueberry in it, tried & tried but I just can't vape cardboard mud which is what every blueberry mix tastes like to me. I'm also on the verge of binning CV honeycomb ice cream as there is an ingredient in it that makes me barf!
I have buckets of patience so all my home mades are minimum 1 month steep before I try them aside from straight up fruits :-) which get a week or two.

I just dumped a bit from tanks just now. Giving them all a good clean out and new coils when needed. Also got rid of hanging around juices left in squonking bottles. I think I'm going back to one or two flavours at a time instead of twenty odd! Failed mixes go to the eldest, he's not fussy with what he vapes

Seriously spacey, there is something proper vile in it isn't there? A really lingering barfy type element to it I have had the same experience with a pre made French vanilla ice cream and again with Drip Drop Maltesers flavour, lord knows what the ingredient is but it proper makes me heave

Ok today's failed delights are a heady mix of black jacks cinnamon and peach. It's blooming disgusting and must be at least a 1.8 nic ! I'm dripping very slowly and quite shallow pulls I think this one will be binned as I can't take much more !

Sounds like you are onto a real winner Buy some 10 ml glass bottles stick on a fancy label = High end limited edition e-liquid - don't forget to give it a can't live without name - And most important send one bottle out free to a reviewer. lol

I only ever ever mix at 3ml for proto-recipes. If it works, it will then get upgraded with a potential recipe nudge to 10ml. After that its a 30ml or 100ml depending on whether its an ADV for me.
