OK I think I've found the problem!

I have just received the leaking EVS from mrsM and the first thing I noticed was the top collar was not pushed fully home on the top of the tank (see picture). This would mean the mouthpiece bottom would not seal to the top of the inner tube properly. I just pressed it against a worktop and it clicked in place. I have filled it and it's vaping fine, no gurgling and/or leaking. I'll test it for the rest of the day and report back later.

The picture shows one of my EVS at the top and the one I received from MrsM at the bottom, you can clearly see the gap.

Ahhhh haaaaaa, that makes sense from your picture, you're meaning the silver bit is not pushed down far enough? wondering how on earth I didn't notice that *slaps forehead*

I've just filled yours to the top (1.6 ml mark) and it's vaping fine, no gurgles, juice in mouth or leaks) since I pushed the top collar on fully.

I can taste the grape a bit and it tastes nice

Lol, glad you enjoying the grape Des lmao, I wonder if that has been the problem all along leading me to forceably try to tighten the mouthpeice. Good grief , it's all a learning curve

That seems most likely at the moment, so:

1. Make sure the top collar is pushed fully home.
2. Don't over tighten the mouthpiece, this will push the collar up.

Great stuff Des!

As a rule, I hold the EVS upto the light and if you can see light between the bottom of the mouthpiece and the silicone cap, it's out of alignment.

I got the first one of the two you sent me apart MrsM and the silicone cap that sits on the post seems to be slightly shorter than normal leaving a gap in the slot between the coil/wick and the bottom of the cap. This is what I think was causing your gurgling and leaks as the e-juice was just filling up in your center post through this..

I have put a thicker wick to fill the gap with a new coil in and the gurgling seems to have disappeared. I am still testing it and will look at the other one later..

I'll probably post it on Friday after testing them if that's ok with you..I am testing them both with grape so there should be no worries on that front..

Well, I've just vaped a full tank through MrsM's EVS (3 hrs!) and it performed faultlessly.

Evening guys, firstly a big thank you to Disco and Macca for your help and investigative work on my misbehaving equipment, you guys are worth a million!! So it would seem that some of my issues was not my fault or something I was doing wrong, well, if i knew about the silver thingy I could have sorted that one :-[ but the one with the wick I had no chance!!

Well the first one I took apart earlier is behaving perfectly. I vaped about 1.2 ml of Grape through it..No gurgles and no leaks so have rinsed it out ready to be sent out.

I took the second one apart and it was a really hard one to disassemble.

Once dismantled, I couldn't see anything obviously wrong with it. I have rewicked it with a thicker wick nevertheless and testing it now and is working ok so far. I might post them off to you tomorrow if that one is ok too.

Thank you so much. Just wondering what batteries you guys are using as the new one I took out yesterday is now behaving the same flooding, it had so much juice I had to blow down it to clear it which helped a bit I think after this I may just give up cause its looking like me once again, they all can't be dodgy

That's the only 510 battery I have.

I have added an extra piece of wick to mine,I will see how it goes should add more liquid for when i forget to tip it over.
