Where to begin? There was me thinking this would be the fill and vape I have been looking for but I have had nothing but problems. I seem to be the only one that keeps messing it up I now have 4 on the go. Hubby has one and I have 3. 2 of which are regular resistance and the other is the lower. I am using them on riva type batteries and a TW tornado battery. These are the issues I've had: I get what I call a bubble draw (almost like it's not firing properly) a pop sound and then lovely juice in mouth > After several draws with the above symptoms (intermittently putting it down, tilting on it's side, standing it up) I check the battery end to find juice over the connectors in a puddle and throughout various crevices under the skirt > I fill slowly with a spikey thing or needle tip ensuring juice goes in the tank itself and not in the top, I screw my lid down tight to ensure no gaps and I make sure to press and hold the button on my battery until I hear the sort of firing sound before taking a pull. The older ones (which done about 2 weeks each before the problems appeared) 1 was washed and dry burned and was fine until the above started again, the 2nd one was air dried, problem continues and the third one was out of the box on Saturday night and I am having the same thing happen. Why on earth can't I get this right To further add insult to injury I see GotVapes have now released a "new improved" version PS. Gotta post and run till I get back from work, I cant even carry it with me cause driving and a mouth full of juice doesn't mix so off i go with my pack of 20 > :-[ I just don't get it

Sorry Mrsmac. I get the occasional leak, I check every re-fill, but it's not terminal.
There are really only two places where juice can get inside. First between the mouthpiece and the rubber cap, but if the seal is screwed down tight and you're refilling carefully that can't be it I suppose. Second is through the wick, which would be more of a problem, I'm guessing, if you fill above the wick or if the wick is otherwise submerged. I can't think of any other way kuice can get in.
Not that this is any help. I hope you'll find a travelling kit that keeps you off the nasties, maybe the EVS isn't it.

I tell you what Mrs M, we can test if it's you. We'll do a swap! I will send you the Stardust I have just re-wicked, minus the mouthpiece, I know it works fine as I have been using it all day today and it's been fine. I will wash it out first, you do the same, though I have been putting Menthol through it, so it may still taste a bit of menthol. You send me yours and we'll see if it behaves the same. What do you think? Mine measures 2.5 ohm.

To further add insult to injury I see GotVapes have now released a "new improved" version This part of your post has me puzzled... tell me does the "Stardust" you have 1. have a little scale on the side, showing how much you've got in the "tank"? 2. Is the Plastic tank clear? 3. Is the plastic tank bottle shaped, i.e. not straight? I just want to check you don't have these: www.gotvapes.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=148_147&products_id=653

Hi there Des, thank you for kind offer of a swap I would like to take you up on the offer as I just can't figure it out. The one I have is the one with the measurments up the side, and clear plastic tank bottle shape. I didn't order from the US I got them from Safercigs over here. The new improved is announced on another forum that Gotvapes use something about adjustments to the metal pole inside to make it longer

Something has changed,The mouth piece and the top ring seem to be attached now and the little metal support ring under the silicon has gone. Can not see anything else yet "Mouthpiece inserts and then screws down for a complete seal with an added silicone o-ring on mouthpiece PLUS a new metal tube petrudes upwards so that its surrounded by the mouth peace."

That's interesting i'll post the pics below for people that are not registered on ECF. One thing said was that leaking was caused by the central tube being wonky so the mouthpiece bottom did not seal the tank properly, have you checked this MrsM?

I dont see anything, maybe it is a little off but this is the one opened on Saturday and the draw is currently non existent (think sucking on a straw with the bottom pinched!)and then BAM juice in mouth!
