Hi Everyone
I don't have a steam gun and have a bunch of cartos I really want to clean, however they sell cans of compressed/canned air in the pound shop with the applicator..
do you think they would be any use for blasting out/cleaning cartos etc?

Yes but of course it won't have the benefit of being at 100 deg C.
The "gunk" that builds up on coils is part burnt carbon, that's why a dry burn works in some instances, this fully burns the carbon that then goes to ash which is softer and easire to clean out.

Thanks Gordy & Des! I don't quite have the lung capacity to blow as hard as most people probably do lol.. I know there is already a thread (probably a few) on cleaning them etc.. so will check those out too.. hmm, may be worth investing in a steam gun then.
It's just I noticed the cans there and thought.. hmm

Just rinse them out and boil them.
Which cartos are you trying to clean?

These should be okay to boil but the wrapper may come off of the outside, I cannot be held responsible, if you FUBAR any/all of them!

I have a sonic cleaner gordy, hopeless for cleaning juice from cartos but great for unclogging the holes Those air cans leave a residue behind if held too close, not sure what it is but I don't think you'd want to be vaping it

The steam bar on coffee machines is excellent for cleaning atties, should be ok with metal carto's I would've thought. (Disclaimer, I take no response ability for anyone trying this and they burn they're fingers)

M They're good for blasting biscuit crumbs out of the keyboard You could use a Tesco denture tablet in one of those Gordy! They're only 55p for 30 The steam bar on coffee machines is excellent for cleaning atties, should be ok with metal carto's I would've thought. (Disclaimer, I take no response ability for anyone trying this and they burn they're fingers) Holding the carto with wooden tongs and wearing oven gloves for double safety maybe?

I used a short piece or rubber hose and connected the pipe and attie together, worked a treat.
