Yes you can womble. The flange just stops them slipping down if you're using something like a 510 - 510 connector for example.

hissie I used valkoor they are reasonable price and have a selection of carto's with different ohm rating , ordered last weekend and my mum told me they arrived at hers today from romania , pretty good shipping I reckon

with the punch its pretty easy just pop a carto in, tighten up the bottom bolt. then screw dont the handle till you hear a pop, that'll give you about a 1mm hole, then add another turn if you want a 2mm hole. couldnt be easier

if you're really not comfortable doing it then i could punch some for you

One hole I find sufficient . . . but if you use a VG heavy juice, you may need to make an extra hole, to give better wicking for a thicker juice.
