Hey all you knowledgeable folk! What airy single coil RTA options are currently out there? I'm currently after one for a nickel build - Ive seen the Lemo 2 had a bit of a whiffy base connection which doesnt work great for temp control. Is the squape R airy? The brass on the monster kayfun is putting me off. Not sure if the subtank mini is the best option out there right now but I think it could be? I dont want a lemo 1 as that was okay for its day but doesnt really cut the mustard for me now. Any and all advice welcome Cheers folks

I let 3 genuines and about 5 clones of this wonderful atomizer go when I switched fully away from MTL. Sad times, I was in love with this atty for the best part of 2 years I think

I've been using the subtank mini for my temp control builds. The way the wire is trapped makes it nice and easy to do a nickel build and with the new rba plus deck wicking is a doddle

I'm probably between getting one of these again for nickel or going with the above. I'm guessing airflow is probably going to be better on the subtank.

Whats the diameter of that beast mate I think they are twin 3mm holes. But I also think there will be some restriction from the 510 pin and chimney so wont be like a straight set of monster holes.

The Subtanks are easy for nickel builds because of the way the wire is trapped you get a good stable connection, not the airiest tanks in the world though, airy yes but not as airy as others.
I have the Smok TFV4 on order and the Cloupor Z4 both look to have better airflow than the Kanger tanks, the Morph from Eciggity and Ehpro looks interesting too.

+1 for subtank for to try and get used to this ruddy tc lark i did however find the rba is tighter than the occ heads on the draw but there is a way round this with a hacksaw and file(yes im a ruff bugger but it works) just join the 2 holes together on each side and your almost up to occ airflow if your getting the clone from fasttech order a few rba,s as well so you can build and swap to see what you like(and as luck would have it i can screw them straight into the 510 on my mini invader to test so no need to fit it to tank) the main drawback with the monster kayfun is the size of the hole in the positive pin look not far off the normal kfl erl or its cheaper bro are good for tc and can just about be used as lug hitters but are best as mtl and blow kfl,s out the water on tc have to say i wasnt sold on tc till i had this cold and now ive played more its starting to grow on me spesh in a dripper

The brass on the monster kayfun is putting me off. Hi Tom if you are put off the Monster as it looks like it has a brass terminal then dont be. I am as good as 100% sure it is gold plated steel. Mine has be in use all week and that terminal is just as gleaming as when i 1st got it, surly brass would have tarnished even slightly by now. I know what happens to my brass mods when they get covered in juice and they tarnish up very quick. Above is as it looks this morning after I have been using for for over a week now and run under tap to rid it of juice for you to see. After spending 2 years at a plating plant where many of the processes on the quality items start off with a flash gold plate that provides a better surface for what goes on after. Even after nearly 30 years away from it, I should be able to tell the difference and would be due a good slap if I am proved wrong. Has a nice draw that one best drawing KF yet. And 3 good tank options with it. But just wanted to say, really dont think it is brass. ReviewI guess you have seen what I got as you do the review section quite a bit.

Its a far better draw than that KF4 I got, even after my quick mod on the KF4 the monster has twice air airflow, easily, and even more over the v2 's I have.

My friend has the full sized subtank and I find there's no comfortable air hole for mouth to lung.
I got the subtank mini and the smallest air hole is good for mouth to lung.
But perhaps because I'm now used to lung hits that's why I think that. If you know anyone with a subtank mini see what you think with the smallest air hole.
Apologies if you've already tried that, I now you mentioned the nano and the full size, which I assumed was the big 7ml plus version?

Picked up a subtank mini black starter kit on a Northampton vapers group. Have gone with this first just because of how accessible it was. May still be tempted to order the kf anyway
