IMO yes, but not in a mech, I have seen that video before, I have a nickel allergy and been vaping 10 ml a day with Ni200 since October with no ill effects at all. IMO just a Muppet adding 2 + 2 and getting 7 because that was the answer he wanted before asking the question.
ETA I missed the word mech originality, if you got the resistance high enough (very vary big coil) it would be safe, but you wattage would more than halve as it got hot so it would be cr4p.

Im using Ni200 atm with my sxk Temp Control mod but i wouldnt use Ni200to build a coil for a mech mod as kanthal is a lot better choice, as its more robust when built and offers more resistance so can be used in thicker gauges for more robust builds that will stand rewicking without bending and mishaping. just my opinion..

I've put the wire in a billow v2 on a mechanical mod it seems to work perfectly actually it's quite good I didn't have it on my snowwolf but I find a dripper was better with that mod
