hi all dont know why but i thought dripping was about high wattage (when ever i been in shops they seem to be dripping at like 70-100 watts!).....if so why do the sqounkers seem to be around 50w...as you can tell i know nothing about dripping ! lol i was thinking maybe better flavour over reg tanks ..not interested in big clouds

It's all about the build and airflow, some people like low builds with wide open airflow (cloudage) Others chase the flavour with smaller airflow and higher builds. Im currently enjoying Isle of custards, Ships Doctor (Apple Pie & Custard) on my OrigenV3 1.4ohms at 10Watts and it bloody lovely - NOM NOM NOM

squonking is more a sit at home feet up way to vape rather than with the boys showing off your lung capacity for vapour.. some folk just need to drink the most beers and eat the hottest curry, the same folk will probably feel the need to vape at the highest setting too and i suspect the coils used to vape @70-100w will be fraction of an ohm resistance so probably equivelant to vaping 5-10w with an old kanger protank with a 2+ohm resistance coil..

It's really all about the type of atty and batteries, most of the squonking atties have been flavour chasing type atties with a more restricted airflow, with the tighter airflow the vape is going to get hot with less power, there are some more cloud chasing type atties around now for squonking but they're really just regular drippers that manufacturers have thrown a bottom feed conversion pin in like the Velocity clones. You really need dual 18650's for 75w plus, dual batteries and the bottle, feed tube etc it's going to be a big old box.

Drippers started out the same wattage as everything else, but they are the easiest style of atty for all skill levels to build a high power set up that wicks and in the past the easiest to modify to do this. Squonking mainly appeals to flavour chasers rather than cloud chasers and I don't think that will change as the hole through the connection may cause a little power loss at very high watts.

That the trouble, we all vape so very differently, and the tech is moving so fast what with the (small mans syndrome) DNA200 board & temp control being everywhere, but you know what sometime just going back to where we all started can be well....... Wonderful 1.4ohm at 10watts is about what 3.7/8 volts, same power as what the ciggalikes/Evods etc. Alright ive got Organic Japanese Cotton now instead of silica, but quite honestly the flavour is emense. I do vary wattage & builds dependent on Juice, but i can safely say between 9watts & 20watts suit me just fine

banditruss for me i would say the OrigenV2 or V3, but also for flavour at 22mm people have liked the Magama, Derringer and lots of people seemed to get on with the veritas etc I know that you can get bottom feed pins for the Origens but as for the others im not sure, but others will be able to help you out im sure

whoops Get Off My Cloud i was looking at the velocity... any advice on best drippers for flavour ..as im looking into sqounking for the first time having never dripped before either :S cheersguys The Velocity is ok for flavour just close the airflow slots down so they're just slightly open and leave the top holes closed, using the 510 drip tip adapter rather than the wide bore drip tip helps too. It's a good versatile atty you can use for either flavour or clouds, just depends on the airflow setting you use.
