converting a vapour flask to sqounker ?

hi does any one know how easy it would be t convert a vapour flaask type mod to a sqonker....as reviews for the vf clone sqounkers dot see to good..i thought get dna40 vf clone and convert to sqounker ,i know id need to cut out a sqounk hole ..and see fat daddy do a conversion kit ...the hole is no problem but how to go about the actual conversion is it just replace 510 side with conversion kit and run on single batt or is there more to it than that ? thanks for any help

but i dont think fat daddy 510.s are that good as the short ones i got would have been stronger if they were made of cheese
@windows is prob the best one to ask what bits to get

hmm black adder ....cheers thought worth a try ..might not be dna40 thought of the sxx (infinate clone always like infinate ) or similar ,woukld the 510 be hard cheese or soft cheese lol any other thought from members would be great thanks @deecoy ...youre always there

i just work night shift so chilling before bed at this time
robby has had one or 2 of them apart so he might be able to shed some light as well
i dont think its that hard to put a gen dna 40 in them if you do get it working with the non gen one and the dna 40 might drop in price soon

@windows any modder out there please,any help please with this idea just need to now if i need to just swap out the 510 for hollow with extenson for bottle looked on fat daddys site and got confused with all options not sure what i need ,i presume leave board /buttons where they are cut slot out to sqounk,cut battery casing down for bottle to fit ..but then what do i do above that ?if it isnt to much trouble just a list of parts i would need would be great i can probably work it out from there and decide if its cost effective...but if you fancy add a description of what to do even better thx guys

I am waiting on a squonking pin ATM, haven't looked at bottles yet, but plan on doing it soon and replacing the board with a real DNA and will do a write up with pics.

The prob with the 510 is it is a 13.5 mm press fit, so the best plan would to be to cut/grind it down to an bottom and fit a new one through it, but which one, Fat Daddy have a poor rep for temp limited mods so I will probably have to doctor a VariTube of StealthVape connector.

You don't need one if you can get a centre pin that will work and on my flask it is copper so I may just use a pin, I just pulled the pin out of an Innokin carto that could do the job, but I think they are plated brass so not my 1st choice ideally I would want a stainless steel pin and a good spring under it, but I don't fancy trying to drill a ss socket head bolt.  There are a few options out there like www.svapiamo.com/61-fai-da-te-x-boxmod , www.planetofthevapes.co.uk/forums/advanced-pv-mod-making-and-diy-discussion/all-things-mod-making/47867-squonking-parts.html , probably a lot on ECF I havn't had a good look yet.

Just checked my Xining flask and the centre pin is a std M3 thread so if you can find an M3 screw with a hole down it that would be and easy option.

vern I see you have been looking at this stuff recently arund the web, have you seen anywhere selling flask squonker pins?

Fat daddy vapes do the complete kits but not seen anywhere doing the pins on their own
