I'm having terrible trouble trying to build coils for my mini nautilus which I love but can't afford to keep buying coils for! I've watched how you're supposed to do it on u tube but can't seem to get them to work. I can build everything else I've got like the kafuns and protank 2, even the Veritas dripper with no problems. Anyone got some tips for building the mini nautilus coils or do I just have to keep trying. They seem so hard!

Old & New heads:-
1. Take out bottom pin & grommet. Use a small screwdriver to push the coil & wick out through the top.
2. Hold head in a vice. Find a drill that will fit inside the inner sleeve at the bottom of the head but not fit through the bottom of the head. The drill I use just had 5 on it so may be 5mm. Tap drill with mallet/hammer pushing the inner sleeve out. There will be a piece of cotton coming out with it which can be thrown away.
3. Replace the inner sleeve ensuring that 2 opposing juice holes are clear and the other 2 covered by the sleeve. I use a clamp to squeeze the sleeve back in. Make sure it's right in.
4. New Heads:- Check that an 18 gauge blunt needle will fit through the 2 clear opposing holes. Old heads:- Drill out the 2 clear holes to 2mm.
5. Make a coil. I use the Kuro Coiler, 28 AWG (.32mm) wire, to make a 2mm dia coil. 8 wraps comes out at about 1.6ohms.
6. Feed the coil up through the bottom of the head and when it's lined up with the clear holes insert the needle to keep the coil in place. Fit grommet & pin. Trim legs. Check ohms and heat to sort out any hot spots.
If you still struggle I'll send you 1 recoiled head for every 2 used heads you send me.
