FT Subtank Mini clone issue with black paint

Wasn't sure what board this goes in just wanted to warn everyone about this clone.

Don't order the above version the paint is no good.
Had one delivered this afternoon, washed it off as you do and the paint immediately started flaking off.



I just washed it with plain cold water no detergent or anything.
Everything else is A1 as far as machining and everything goes, just the paint is crap, order the unpainted version.

thanks for the heads up, i had 3 x black subtank mini top cages on order, have deleted and when the refund hits paypal i will order more silver/unpainted ones.. Phew.. lucky escape, i dont fancy vaping paint

Same one I bought recently, never used it yet as it was just a spare. Ah well cheers for letting us know.

Well the dickheads replied to my ticket, they said the paint will come off if you wash it and the item doesn't have any quality issues.



Sure, an unused tank fresh out the box rinsed under the tap with paint falling off isn't indicative of a quality issue at all.

I wouldn't be happy with that response..

I would ask for a full refund as your main reason for choosing that item was its colour, and if that cannot be maintained in a reasonable condition for a reasonable period then its worthless.

Oh and include a link to this thread.. so your position can be seen to be endorsed by other potential lost customers..

just be polite as im sure you will be..

Oh i made it clear i wasn't going to accept their $3 gift certificate, in the original ticket i asked for a replacement in the form of the unpainted version which is actually £2 cheaper than the painted one and i would still happily accept that but i've told them if they continue with ridiculous excuses and runarounds then they have had their last order from me.
I'm not going to spend further money of mine with a company that will go to these lengths to squirm out of making good a deal on an obviously defective product.
I've also already posted a thread on their forum on that item with the above pic warning others not to buy.
