I had a Subtank Mini and struggled to MTL with it even with the smallest air hole half closed.
OneZeroNyne I'm the same as you. I mostly MTL and really can't be arsed with coiling everything myself. The Kayfun Lite is generally regarded as good for MTL. I've got an Hcigar clone and have yet to get the build right but I'm persevering because it's so highly thought of.
Drunkenbum hit the nail on the head. All the manufacturers have gone sub ohm crazy and good tanks for MTL have been neglected. The last significant development was the Nautilus BVC coil and that was released getting on for a year ago. In the Vaping industry, with new products being developed and brought to market in a matter of months, that makes it ancient.
I still find the Nautilus/Nautilus Mini the best tank for MTL for most flavours so I've got half a dozen, but the Nature Vape tanks are also excellent for certain flavours.
I'm looking forward to seeing some reviews of the new Triton. I'm praying it'll be good for MTL but I'm not gonna hold my breath. It'll probably be aimed at sub ohming with MTL as an afterthought.
Edit: the NV tanks are a rebranded something else but I can't remember what it is

I agree. I use the Nautilusses for MTL and occasional straight lung inhales so for me quite flexible, and the iSub and Atlantisuses for direct lung inhales. I also quite enjoy my iClear 30S for MTL too.
I am also trying to allocate some funds for the new Triton, because I like the design, and further more, I like the easyness of the top filling option. No more unscrewing tanks to fill 'em up.

Hey guys thanks for the suggestions so far. HaroldTheBarrel I'm praying too for the triton & I feel like the scene Is starting to lose focus on what e-cigs was for, a healthier alternative to the smellys or give them up completely. The triton does look promising though, it states on aspire's website that the 1.8 ohms coil is for mouth to lung users. Need to wait on more reviews before I take the plunge. That top filling baron on the triton is brilliant, sick & tired of having to keep filling my nautilus mini up everyday. Only downside is it has a 3.5ml tank.

I don't see any change apart from getting more flavour from juices

IME smokers all do MTL. If they start Vaping they look for something similar to smoking that gives the same experience, ie throat hit and nic buzz. If the state of the art of tanks is all aimed at direct lung inhaling with MTL tanks pretty much neglected as they seem to be at the moment, then it's a big jump for smokers to go from MTL to lung inhales.
The fixation with flavour and big clouds is a development of the Vaping culture and is a quantum leap away from smoking.

agree, now days its all about sub ohming high vg juices and sik kloudz, maybe it is just a fad that will pass by like others have, would like to see china come out with there own reduced chamber drippers, micro tank/drippers maybe little 18350 hybrid drippers somthing they havent made before, instead of subohm tank after subohm tank. i get that its all about making money so they will make whatever is popular at the moment and that wil sell the most units but errgh.

My son bought us both a Triton and we only MTL.
The 1.8ohm vapes just like the Nautilus/Mini.
The top fill is brilliant but neither of us like the airflow at the drip tip so we just leave it closed.
Waiting on delivery of the RTAs.

HaroldTheBarrel If you're still wondering where you can get them, I just ordered mine from myepack.co.uk £26.99 with £2.25 shipping. Brought some triton coils too at £2.39 each

With the sub ohm head it guzzles. 3rd time I've tried a sub ohm tank and it's just too hot a vape for me.
I've recoiled the only Atlantis head I have with a 1.7ohm horizontal micro coil and it fits & vapes fine.

So what you all seem to be saying is that the nautilus etc. is perfect for you, so designers shouldn't design for anybody else just for you lot. Sub ohm tanks take non sub ohm coil heads too. Most can have the AFC turned completely off so what's your beef.
As for . That's crazy twisted logic. Vaping is vaping not smoking. That's what's good about it.

Not a single person in this thread has said that, all that's been said is there's lots of focus on sub ohming. And that they have seem to have forgot about us MTL vapers who don't particularly want to sub ohm. E-Cig manufacturers should cater to both, nothing wrong with that.

Get over itExactly my point but all I see here and in other posts is complaints that designers and manufacturers are not designing for them. The fact is that my modern tanks can have the AFC turned right off and will happily take 1.5ohm coils so no probs with MTL or lung hits. I can do both.
