I went on a little spending spree a couple of months ago, to try and combat my urge to smoke ciggies, when I should be totally vaping, bought about 4 tanks, matching coils, and the SMOK XCUBE, which is now my highest wattage mod. Bleeding harder to give up the second time around, than the easyness of my first time. However a couple of days ago having a rummage for a different tank, I noticed the iSub G (I also have the original iSub) and decided to break its virginity. I like it, pretty much as well as I like the iSub, but of course this tank has glass, rather than plastic. So far it has been working a treat with no leaks over the past few days with constant use. Both to me are great little tanks. I can offer nothing more than that on the subject... BTW Raffles, I didn't know you were a 4 year old novice........who supplies you with the vaping gear ?

It's about time something was done about our roads. I did hear rumours that the EU (bleh) gave the Council a grant and 5 years to do all the roads. How true that is I don't know, but there have been some mighty improvements, as most roads just got a top dressing and that was it. I was born on the Island at Bonchurch, and suitably for me, it was called the Unique Nursing Home, way back in Dec 1945.............yep, a celebration end of war baby. I joined the RAF as a Boy Entrant aged 15.5 years, and did 18 months training at RAF Cosford at Wolverhampton...........waaaaay up north !! So I was away from the Island for some 25 years in England (or North Island as we call it) and a couple of overseas postings. Whilst in Cyprus my parents sodded off to Australia...for good, which made me homeless, so when I finished in Cyprus I stayed with my sister and family in Alton Hants. Then they pushed off to Australia, so I got married, and got an MoD married quarters.... Came back to live on the Island in 1989 with family. Geez, how have I got into my family history ?!!......sorry about that. Anyway, book your holiday for next year, and even more roads should be smoothed over for our driving pleasure...

Well... we go home tomorrow. Had an amazing time over here and will definately come back again. Kids and adults both! The weather has been absolutely stunning for us and that we are so grateful for. All of us tanned like we been away to spain for a week lol. I take back what i said about the roads...have travelled around the island completley now and for every good smooth road, there 4 horredous pot holed, repair on a repair roads! However what i wpuld absolutley love to do is have the roads all closed off and do an isle of man type race around the island...some fantastic winding hilly roads etc The island is noticeably well kept and clean. Even the houses and gardens are kept nice and tidy. The native people dont appear to be the friendliest from what have experienced. Especially road manners...have let so many people pass by or let someone out of junctions etc and NOT ONE person ALL WEEK has put hand up to say thanks lol they just drive straight by!. It become a personal mission to be as courtious as possible to try and get just one thanks...mission failed so far. Plenty of things to do on the island..my personal favourite was ryde and their beach. Have never seen a tide go out so far in all my life. Took us half an hour to walk from start of beach to the sea! All nice sand too. The island has been taken over by the mods n rockers for the weekend. Have never seen so many vespa's and lambretta's. Literally hundreds of them buzzing around around the island! Any enough rambling from me. Just a heads up if anyones considered going to isle wight..your have a great time. Bish So glad you enjoyed your stay on my Island. There are two Vaping shops in Ryde up in the town. One has been mentioned, but there is another small shop near enough next door to Poundland. This little shop was the first one on the scene, until the other shop opened up perhaps a couple of years ago, and thought I would give them a try. However I was not impressed with them, and won't go back. Why ? First visit matey sold me some cheapo battery for £8 (I think), and being in a hurry when I got home I found it to be a cheapo rubbish battery unsuitable for any of my battery mods, and disposed of it. It could just about power a clock I suppose. Second, they had 3 x 10ml bottles for £12, and I bought 3 x the same flavour and shoved them into my pocket. Again when I got home I found one of them was some awful flavour made out of Lavender or something. I took it back - of course it was opened - and whinged a bit, so I ended up paying £3 I think for a 10ml bottle of the flavour I wanted. I wasn't going to give them a 3rd try. The other shop 'Clear Vape' (or something was there first), and where I started vaping, are very good, so when not buying from the internet, I pop in there and spend more time having a good natter with the owner, and others in the shop.......hard to see anyone sometimes with all the vapour clouds. As for our roads, well the Council is making a pretty good job of re-doing the roads, not just a quick topping, so many of the main and inland roads are now pretty smooth to drive on. There are of course still some horrors yet to be done, and having just bought myself a Skoda Fabia 1.9 TDi VRS, which has low profile tyres and stiffer suspension (to my previous VW Passat 1.9 TDi,) I can end up with quite a few broken bones after travelling on them... As for the people here, then you must have come across those that have moved over here from England... as generally we are a friendly bunch. But you are right about people not acknowledging you when you let them out of a junction, or along a crowded road of parked cars, even if you have right of way, because many times I just shout '"Thank you !" as they go by, with their noses in the air. But I guess there are just as many ignorant drivers where ever you go. I too buy from Island Custards, but have not yet visited their shop, and must do next time I go to Ventnor. Right, enough rambling from me.....

A bit difficult to vote for me really, as I use around 20W or so on my .5ohm tanks - iSub and Atlantis V1 and V2's. Or, 8-9W with the iClear 30 and 30S tanks. It really sort of depends on what mod I fancy using. So my usage is low to medium.

Like others here, I would order from China if it is something that I am not in a hurry for (I tell myself) as it might just be some coils or something, where the cheaper cost out weighs the wait of a week or so.

Just to poke my nose in but No. 2 son and wife (who is S. Korean American) emigrated to Irvine Ca. about 3 years ago, and he loves it, and got a job after all the faffing about getting work visa and stuff, but job is now permanent (but keeping eye out for another one) after the 6 month work ban ended, with a travel Firm that advises on holidays in Europe and USA etc. They live in her fathers house, and bought a Nissan Leaf -electrickery car - for local and work runs, but swaps the Nissan for her Dad's large saloon for long trips, and boy have they made some, Hawaii (her Mother lives there) Grand Canyon, Yosemite National Park, and goodness knows where else when they can. I can't add to any vaping tips because neither of them smoke, so I had better shut up and leave now...

Well my Doc. says I have Type 2, not that I notice it, but have a blood sugar meter, and found that the plastic tubs that the testing strips come in, when empty make very good 'stands' to put my tanks in when changing a coil, or for some other reason where I unscrew the base and need to put the tank with juice in it somewhere. Works for me.

I have never yet (fingers crossed) broken any of my glass tanks. I bought spares for my Nautilus 5ml and later on for the Mini, plus the spares for the Atlantis v1 and v2's, which are all still sitting in their boxes gathering dust. The have been knocked over, even on a mod from my PC desk onto a mat on the floor, which caused me some concern at the time, but all was well. Saying this boast, I will probably break the lot now....

Not really on topic, but just a quiet sulky whine....just checked Gearbest and see that the MPV3 Pro 60W selling for £29.06, whereas I bought mine from Myepack June 8th 2015 (wanted it quick time) for £47.24...*sigh.

Not quite on topic, but I do find that say a caramel toffee for instance will be nice in my Nautilus, but in my iSub the .5 coil makes it a bit harsh on my throat, even dropping the watts down a bit from 20W, so for me I have to be a bit careful of what juice I vape in it. Custard flavours seem to work in the Nautilus and iSub/Atlantis 1 + 2, so I am happy with that.

I got fed up of waiting for my Win10 download to actually arrive. I kept checking the little 'window' icon in the system tray, but it just told me to check later. I found that I could download it from MS using the 'media creation tool' which offers either 32bit/64bit. I have Win8.1 installed on two separate HDD's, one for daily use, and the other as a 'master copy' which I could clone over (WD True Image - free version) if the daily OS went rotten. To clone over only takes about 30-40 minutes to complete which saves me about 2-3 days in a fresh install, all the MS updates, installing software and games etc. So using the 'mct' I downloaded and installed the 64bit version on to the HDD that is in daily use, which only took about 55 minutes or so, then a few more minutes for some extra updates, and it all went smoothly for me. Then I knocked it into shape by disabling a lot of apps, uninstalled ones I didn't want, and disabled that Cortana, and OneDrive, and the new version of IE, which I don't like at all. I still use 'notepad' for little notes I like to keep on the desktop, as I don't like that 'OneNote' thingy, it seems far too flashy and complicated for my addled brain. Once done and now looking just like Win8.1 but with a few extra icons in the task bar, I rather like it to use, as it appears to be a little faster to boot up/shut down than Win 8.1. But for my back up, I have cloned Win10 onto another HDD for safe keeping, so now it is available to boot up on two HDD's, but Win 8.1 now is only on one HDD, so I must get another drive to clone it on to so that I am covered should things go wrong. I also run Vista 64, which is stable (I know the whole world hates it) and rarely gives me a problem, and that is also cloned onto another spare HDD. I hate doing fresh installs, as it takes so much time to do, whereas cloning makes life easier. I just boot up the drives and update them about once a month to keep them fresh, should the need arise. The I just disconnect the 'master' copies (paranoia of getting infected drives ) until connecting them for the next updates, not that I have had a virus since my Windows 98/SE days, downloading free screen savers and such. I use Vista for some things like copying over photo's or videos off my Nexus 7 2012 and 2013 tablets, as I cannot get Win8.1 or Win10 to recognise them. This has been a problem for many people I believe, but good 'ole Vista accepted some software to recognise both versions of the tablet, years ago. My machine dates back to 2009 when I built it, and still going strong, which means that I can play World of Tanks on line with some very nice people from the UK, Germany, Greece, Sweden, and Denmark so far. But as I am coming quickly to 70 years (December) my poor reflexes are not as good as they used to be, but I manage. So sorry, have I rambled on far too long ? Thought so, but I like Win10.

Forgot to mention mine are all 18650's.
I bought a battery power pack for the wifes' laptop, but found it was the wrong type, so had to spend more money getting the correct one....*sigh. But thinking that I now had a source of a lot of spare rechargeables I took it all apart to find that they were not suitable at all - maybe for powering an electric clock or something. A bit miffed I was....

Just curious, ok rather nosey, but just had a look and I have not that many: 2 x Efest Red 2000mah 2 x Efest Purple 2500mah. 4 x Samsung 25R's - 2 in use, and 2 still in box unused in case I ever get a mod that requires 2 matched batteries. But, they rarely get used as most of my mods have built in batteries, except the VTR2 and Cloupor Mini, and the Cloupor doesn't really take my fancy so the VTR2 gets used in preference.........dunno why, but it does, and mounts the 30S tank. For my use I don't really think I need any more, unless the ones I use go dud. Ok, so who has hundreds of the blighters then ?
