Ive just posted elswhere that im on week 6 of my Temp control/limited vaping experience and as yet have not felt the need to change a coil.
im using a number of subtanks a plus and some mini clones, all with authentic Ni200 0.15 ohm Occ coil heads, the Plus is my most of the day atty, and the mini clones are full of nice but not all day vaping juices..
are other finding coils under TC/TL lasting longer??

Not sure to be honest, think it might be somewhat juice dependant... Afro D my favourite is let's say gloopy, some call it dirty dish water...no difference, gunks the coil the same...but vaping more black jack at the moment, it's clear and doing my normal change after 3no. tanks the coils still clean, so going push it some more.... So still testing, but rarely do kanthel tanks anymore so on one juice it's a dunno for now I suppose.....!

Also not sure,,some tank/ coil set ups seem to last for ages ( Arctic Tank for example is still on its first vertical coil, never been re wicked or recoiled, yet still performing great.
On the other hand the standard Occ Subtank coils usually need re wicking at least by the fortnight .

I voted yes, as they seem to last longer for me in my Subtank Mini. Although if you ask Mr Lairey, normal OCC coils can last him months

It's not just the Subtanks, it's all Temp Protected coils whether pre built or re built, especially with clear juices, darker juices will still gunk up the coils and therefore not last as long, but I find with the clearer juices the Ni-200 wire lasts a lot longer than a Kanthal build, probably because the juices are getting heated more on non-TP mods. Just my thoughts on this.

Where is the best place to get these coils? I have my first subtank on its way, first tank that uses pre-built coils for well over a year, just to see what's up. But couldn't find the Ni200 coils?

I cant comment on the Ni200's yet, I've only been using them a couple of days, but I AM amazed at the longetivity of the standard subtank coils, I've got one that I've been using for 2 months now and it's still as good as a new one, I'm keeping it in to establish exactly how long one coil can last
