I got me a iStick 40 TC first, then today I got great Vapemail a Dovpo 50 TC that I bought from phatfil and AT LAST a Evic VT TC 60 kit from Bargain Coils

imho TC is great, have a ball DiscoDes, hope you enjoy the dovpo as much as i did, it was a hard decision to let it go, it was my first(of too many hehe) tc mod to arrive..

there is still a sexy lil black skx tc 60 in the classies ;)its one with a purity setting which some have exploited to use Ti and SS wires tho ive not read up in detail on that..

and for those who like the 'classics' a non TC ZNA 30 1:1 clone complete with 2 x 18500 awt batteries, and the 18650 tube too..

How long are you getting from your battery on the eVic DiscoDes? I just got through a full charge in 2 evenings

Two different attys, one is 0.1 ohms and the other is 0.15 and vaping at about 400F-450F ish @ around 35 watts (30-40w, playing)

Which do you feel works best?

All my tanks now I only use NI200, all my regulated devices are now temp control, don't use watts. Have a mech or 2 set up with a dripper using Clapton kanthel.

Think it fair to say I like TC.....!

You only need tc if dripping, or you are so drunk you can't see that you have run out of juice?

I,m running mainly a Sub Tank with a 0.1 coil and it seems to go for a couple of days easy. But I use about 3 or 4 devices with different flavors etc. I have no concerns with battery life on mine

Favourite is definitely the Evic on both counts.

Aniseed juices and using the steel sections in my KFLs is handy too, saves me having to change the plastic section everytime I change the coil...!

Can I ask Des for an update on which of his TC devices he is now (or still) most happy with?

I've been agonising about this question (for myself, not any of my customers) most of this weekend since I decided I really ought to give this a try and update myself about the current equipment. All advice welcomed, but bear in mind that I'm as parlously broke as ever (thinking anything over £50 gives me the shivers) and I only wind or replace coils with premade wick and wire on grounds of poverty, not by choice!I know I'm classed as a Vendor here, but I am only able to work at supporting my existing (mostly face to face, non-internet savvy) vaping customers part-time, and this is more of a semi-voluntary social service than a business for me. It's a big (and rare) week for me if my turnover hits three figures (ie £100+). Yes, that is turnover, NOT profit, which is usually less than (often well under) half of that.

I'd be willing to get hold of Ni200 or maybe even Ti wire from Stealthvape to keep something going if TC ticks my personal boxes sufficiently for it to seem worthwhile, but no way I can start experimenting with umpteen bits of kit if it doesn't.

Two out of Des's three were already front-runners, partly due to TW/TECC's 25% offer - which expires today. They both have the advantage of coming with suitable tanks attached, and I don't currently have anything like that I could slap on a separate battery. I don't think I'd ever even heard of Dovpo until I tripped over them yesterday while poking about in FT, so know nothing at all about them aside from the fact that they exist, and I wouldn't have wait till about October if I wanted one. Most of the others on FT (Authentics, anyway) are preorders with weeks on 'em.

Any other entry-level TC devices which other AAEC members would recommend for a temperature control virgin?
