Ego One dry hits

I got a couple of these a while ago and have had no success with them at all, bought 10 of the rebuildable heads and have tried 2mm, 3mm coils microcoils, more cotton less cotton japanese cotton and still get dry hits all the time.
I make the coils up prime them let them stand and for 3 or 4 pulls they are brilliant really good flavour then   nothing but dry hits, can't get them right.

Any suggestions?

I have these and make micro coils on a 2.5 former with slightly less cotton than normal and only get dry hits when out of juice. I do add quite a lot of juice to the coil when priming down the centre until the cotton is wet on the outside. Oh and I cut the cotton as close as possible when wicking after putting on the top cap. Hope this helps

Thanks I'll give them another go with less cotton, I was wondering if the cotton was getting choked when I screw the cap on.

Their video on u tube says that you need to cut the cotton as close as possible or it chokes the juice channel smarties. I have the juice control ring fully open too.

Hope that's right smarties never done a YouTube link before. I also do Ni200 coils for these quite successfully. 8 wraps  of 30awg on 2.5 former spaced comes out at .15ohm

Your welcome I find them quite a nice vape. Only wish they had glass tubes.

These will take the CL heads according to the joyetec site so should fit the CLR to would have thought.
Bit wider than an ego 1 battery tho at 22mm.

Thanks phtumshk bit pricy though for my budget. 22mm fits perfectly on my istick 40tc though.
