Sounded to me like if you have another order they will tag it on to that to save on postage.
I dont mind paying the postage if they are correct parts and can get em quicker.

Yes, it's all a tad confusing....more so, as the correct bases aren't showing on the website. I've asked their service department to supply me with the correct order no. to ensure the right ones are sent. I'll tag Ella so that she can see this.

Tagging blakey , dave & phtumshk on this. The more I look at these, I'm now of the opinion that the CL bases we all got, are the only bases for the rebuildable atty heads (CLR). There is no mention anywhere, on any site of a rebuildable base similar to the original e-grip one. I believe that they have introduced the CLR (rebuildable head) to fit the CL base & what is required, is to rebuild the head only. The CL base can be used with the rebuildable & non-rebuildable heads. Anyone agree?

The photo of the CL bases is correct............What we have received are the CS bases, which are identical to the original non-rebuildable e-grip bases........The difference being, the CL bases have larger air holes (to compensate for the one missing on the bottom of the original rebuildable base), 2 x thin o-rings, instead of 1 x large silicone ring & the threading is different where the CL/CLR atty screws in to. That is why none of us got extra silicone caps & o-rings, which will be necessary, as they will get worn & damaged after use, particulary, I reckon, the top cap that fits on top of the atty.

CL base for the CL & CLR rebuildable atty head.............

The rebuildable base is the same one that's always been available for the original e-grip, that's not what you're buying- the CL bases that you're after allow you to use the Joyetech CLR rebuildable coil heads which are very good instead of the crappy CS coil heads.

Sorry blakey ..........once again my brain didn't engage properly whilst typing...........What I meant to say was, the bases we all received are for the CS/original e-grip & the CL base will accomodate both CL & CLR heads.

As a footnote, I've had an e-mail saying that the correct ones have now been sent, so I'm off to check...............................

Been watching this thread with interest,been after the CL bases for the e-grip for ages,still cant believe you cant get them in this country yet.Hopefully they have sent out the correct ones to you this time.

your not wrong, you can already get em from the joyetech sites over half of europe but not the uk.
i tried ordering of 1 site, dont know if it was just these bases but they wouldnt ship to uk.
so much for being part of the union.

Right........It's clear now, how the mistake arose..........For those that received the wrong bases, if you look at the box they came in, it has a sticker on it, with the number 5217 on it....This is the reference number for the CL base....The reference number for the CS base (which we all got) is 5528.........Which means that someone put the wrong stickers on the boxes.

I've messaged Ella now & asked her to check that the stickers on the box actually correspond to what's inside the boxes, before she arranges shipment.....otherwise, we will end up with CS bases again if they're not checked first.

I've got to order something else to get the replacements, but I'm still waiting to find out how that is going to work. Maybe Ella can explain what I should do
