The Coolfire 4 does the clicketty thing but it also has a PROPER switch on the bottom that actually gives a reassuring feel when you use it.

My Sigelei is 5 clicks for off, although I think you can power down via the menu too. The MVP3s are 3 clicks for off, and that's that.
I don't bother to remove atties, but do make sure mods are off before pocketing them or putting them in my rucksac for transit.

Lock should be good enough, the circuits are always connected to the battery so there is no off even if it seems like there is. A simple mechanical switch would sort this issue. But that's not something which will be implemented without large scale support.

The Coolfire 4 does have such a mechanical switch - I keep getting caught out by it, that's how I know!

To me a useful feature, as when not in use, I just switch it 'off' and then put it on my shelf until needed again. Cloupor Mini, I always remove the battery, but then I hardly use it since buying it, as I prefer my other mods.
