Yup, great to make matching pairs, or even just to wrap cells bought at different times to colour code by age. Much better than markers that can rub off. And also handy for repairing those sleeves damaged by mods or poor handling.

And with all the fakes on the market, it makes it cheap and easy to rip off wraps to perform further check on cells for authenticity.  At less than 2p a o and 1 min or so to apply..why not if you have concerns. 

Even some good cells come with wraps you may not like.  Torchy 25R cell wraps are a little thick for some mech mods and catch on the threads so these let you replace them when if and when they tear.

They seem a similar thickness to original sammy wraps.

thatguy, Thanks so much for this, I had no idea they were available, I have a pair of batteries that I refuse to use because one of the batteries has a damaged wrap and I keep my batts in pairs, do they wrap around the ends easy enough?

I bought a roll of the stuff but these look a whole lot easier to use as I either cut too much off or not enough.
These seem to be spot on.

Think I'll order the translucent colours so I can use marker pen on the battery then cover it, just for my numbering and date codes
