I recycle my racing ones, but at £40 each they aren't on the cheap side of things.

I wouldn't bother looking at the burst, it the continuous you want. So you need to have a minimum of 23amps, to work this out you take your mah x c rating / 1000 For your battery posted above 1300 x 25 / 1000 = 32.5 amps continuos .

cheers i was just thinking stopping as close as specs of the evolve battery would give better results just needed a bit more capicity.basiclly i just need something thatll last all day saw the evolve test one and apart from being dear thought a good size but might not last allday so then was looking for same specs but higher capicaty.trying to play safe and use close to their test model ... so im ok wth any lipo 3s above 23a continuous, dont worry about burst ,and find a higher capacity to last ? is that right ....bit complicated these lipo batteries easy to get confused atm i do seem like first one listed but is that overkill ?,...looking at these down to the width/depth size 18mm approx by 30mm approx that will allow to fit sqounk in without being to big ,as lot of the lipos are thinner and wider ,the 30 mm would be ideal ..to be fair the size of the evolve one is brillant ..just dont know if it would last the day thanks for help

Guys I hope you don't mind me attaching my query to this thread as this is also about lipo batteries. Would I be ok to use this one? www.componentshop.co.uk/3-7v-4000mah-25c-continuous-discharge-lipo-battery-jst-connector.htmlIf I done the calculations correctly as mentioned above by gm111 I would have 100a continous with this battery? I know this sounds like overkill but since I want to start my journey at some point in making my own mod I was wondering if that one would be ok? I would just love a battery that has more life then reasonableish but as I am still on research stage just trying to get my info right on those... I know how to solder and I am sure I can make my own mod safely just the lipo batteries that are getting me at the moment...

Well you can use 2cell but it limits the watts to 133.. Hope this helps

Especially that my road to my own box mod is still long and a bit twisty as need to research a bit more But that helps a lot to be fair. Which 3 cell battery would you recommend with similar mah rating if you don't mind me asking?
