At the heart of them, interviews are pretty fecking boring for the interviewer. The only useful questions I ever asked were, "what do you know about what we do" and interests outside the workplace. Then I went into a coma.
If you know what you are doing, you've made your mind up in a minute or two.
And that's the problem. Too many purpose built managers who have completed a degree.
