Cartos not lasting long

I put a new SR carto in my tank a couple of days ago, it's tasting burnt already. This is the second time it's happened, the previous one only lasted a few days too, something's not right, any suggestions? The pre punched cartos aren't exactly cheap. Thanks.

Is enough juice getting through ? I have to make the holes bigger for mine to work well

The hole size is fine Jem.

I was using LR cartos, but got bored of only being able to vape at 3.7V, so bought SR so I could vape at 4V and over, the holes are bigger in the SR cartos than the LR ones and I never had problems with the LR's!

Then we have exhausted the wealth of my vast knowledge and shall have to wait on more experianced users to decode the problem

What you using it on Anne ? im using LR on V V Box mod 4.2v no probs

Have you tried putting your thumb over the battery end of the carto and sucking to pull some juice through, every now and again?

Make another hole directly opposite the one already in the carto and make sure it's full from the top.
