Subtank mini confusion

I'm cheating a little though as I haven't built it as a sub ohm tank, so am putting the coils to one side. I've built a slightly higher one to test out mouth to lung so that I can use my tank cracking juices again lol and of course, should I feel the need to give subohming a chance, I have the heads ready:)

I cheat too! I build at 1.4ohms and do as above. Feed the barrel over then trim the cotton and push it down.

No dry hits so far and only flooded once.

I use a slightly different method
I feed the cotton through 1 of the holes in the RBA
Then through the coil
and back through the other hole in the RBA
Seat the casing then tighten the screw
Trim the cotton at the side of the RBA
Then poke the cotton in ever so slightly
Not had a dry hit yet.

thats the way i do them and it works a treat
i dont use none of that jap cotton junk just norm cotton balls as they seem to give less dry hits

Well nearly 24 hours with the sub tank. No problems with wicking so far and I'm down to the last in my first tank full. Flavour got better throughout the tank. Not sure though as I tried a juice I have never had before and it is a little harsh as well as got even though the wattage is ok for my coil.

I guess more playing around needed:)
