Customs - Items from Fasttech & Efun.top stuck

Theres no rhyme nor reason to it - I placed 2 orders with FT on the same day thinking that the Istick would be slower because its a battery completely forgetting I'd included a mini torch which contained a battery in the 2nd order as it was the iStick shipped the next day 22nd August and the larger order didn't ship until 26th August BOTH were sent Singapore Post - today I received the larger 2nd order but theres no sign of the iStick yet

Another waiting on Fasttech orders, shipped 4th August and still not here and yet two others I placed on 14th August both arrived yesterday, pain in the butt as it's the 4th Aug one I want my coils

How large is a large chunk? I hope you haven't alerted HMRC by placing a large order.

bear in mind the threshold for having to pay VAT on import is £15, so try and split orders into no more than £30 if poss, certainly ft try and list the value under $25 to save drawing attention to it...

Also be aware that fasttech seem to put random values on their packets. This used to be ok but my last 3 have had values above the customs threshold (when the contents were less than a tenner). Not been held by customs yet but it's only a matter of time.

I'm still waitin on two Gearbest orders, posted 5th & 7th August, still no sign of them, my Fasttech single order of coils took 4wks, longest I've had to wait so far.

A friend of mine caught me browsing the vape porn on Gearbest and spotted an add for a RC quad copter, apparently one of his lads is keen to get a good one.. and the cost of the ones he looked at were 300usd+

would such a purchase from Gearbest incur additional vat and costs?? I would imagine the package would be significantly bigger than what im used to ordering for significantly less..

I believe they have a few 'quads' in the UK warehouse so they would (hopefully) arrive very quickly and wouldn't incur any fees, if you bought from China the chances are that you'd get away with customers etc (no guarantees) but the risk is obviously the warranty side of things, we take a chance on our vaping gear but a quad is a different kettle of fish
