Easiest way is don't wash em. I never do. There is always a trace of the releasing agent on new bottles, you need to wash that off to avoid tainting the juice

I did have a similar idea myself, but I cant find the bits I need When I was younger (much younger) you could buy rawlplugs in 2' lengths, my idea was to drill holes in a piece of wood and attach the 'cut off' pieces of rawlplug, the advantage to that is that you could put a pin through the rawlplug just above the base to hold your bottles up, effectively drying them in mid air. BUT nobody seems to remember the 'strips' of rawlplug

Its really interesting to see how others dry their bottles
i hang long lengths of string from the wooden rafters in my garage.
i proceed to tie the bottles onto the said string. Once the bottles are balanced i aim the open end towards the exhaust pipe of my mk2 golf gti.
once everything us lined up, i proceed to enter the vehicle and start the engine. I sit there like a massive chav revving the ******* nuts of it and, whilst this does anoy the neighbours, it drys my bottles in a very quick and efficient manner
