I've got an original ipv4 from the first batch ever made. Not sure if it's of any interest to you but if you want it for £20 + postage then drop me a pm. Probably not the cheapest fix for you though

Did you ever find a fix for this problem? I'm on my second ipv4s and it's having the same issue. Right now I'm using aluminum foil to make a connection on the left battery. Anyone who knows of a better way to fix this please help Like I said above pull the contacts forward and put some sugru behind them, B&Q used to do small packs, but you get a far better repair than putting spring contacts or Keystone sled in it.
