I'm also having problems with the resistance after locking it Figure I won't bother and will just switch it on and off. Have not got it for TC or even sub-ohm I had it tell me a 1.7ohm KFL+ was 3.2ohms And then tell me same KFL+ had no resistance Had to rewire in it in the end!!! Get it locked then leave it..if you take it out then wait for it to cool to room temp then lock it in again. Kayfuns a good atty for temp control, spaced coils wrapped tight round them screws. dont think this device works without locking in the resistance looking at the changes on the screen while vaping. Make sure you lock in at room temp and keep it locked. If it jumps out or plays you up make sure all cools down to room temp before locking in again. I assume you have a reader, get it to lock say within 20% reading of that and you'll be well within range to vape and play with the temp. Mine has been a bit fickle with reading the ohms spot on. Good luck.

I thought locking the resistance was only for temperature control (Nickel coils and the like) so this may be causing you unnecessary problems.

You using NI200 or kanthel @johanino my reply above was assuming you was using NI200 and temp control.
