Daft question but Whats your favorite 18650 battery and why?

I personally like the sonys, why? because they are green.

So are the samsung 25r's ... higher capacity but lower max current. I use those and the sony vtc4's

25r's HE4's or VTC4's

The 20A limit on the 25r's and HE4's is good enough for most circumstances and the VT4's are good if i need a little more headroom with the 30A limit.

I use the battery's from scrap laptop computers .Laptops generally use the best ie Sony /Panasonic etc 18650 the computer guy near me lets me have scrap laptops a a £5 a time s0 I get from 4 to 8 top quality batterys at a time for a fiver

I don't believe for one minute that the battery's from china labelled sony /Panasonic sold on ebay are what they say .

Not tried them, the capacity seems low for no extra benefit in discharge rating over the VTC4.

But they will be ICRs and I would not use in anything other than a 15 W or less regulated mod myself, TBH not even then, I have had 24 and none of the cells were fit for vaping IMO they get used for power banks.

I have Samsung 25Rs and so far they seem great. Put them in my Smok X Cube II last night and they aren't even at half charge yet. .

VTC 5 and 25R for me, safety>price

Really makes me cringe when people have no issues paying £80 - £100 for a mod, then risk blindness / disfigurement by putting cheap batteries in them.
