It has been one of those nights.
Got a delivery of new toys, an hour watching videos and rewicking the Zephyrus and it's still leaking everywhere. Subtank still won't work on the Xcube II. Haven't even bothered with the goblin clone.
Least the derringer clone is easy to coil and sort or else I'd have been crying in a corner! Dripper it is for tonight, I'll face the others tomorrow.

We all have days like that now and again, that doesn't make it less frustrating, but you are not alone.

I had real issues with the Xcube and trying to run any Kanger Subtank on it, especially in TC mode, switched to the Smok TFV4 or Arctic Sub Tank and its fine, put any of the Kanger Subtanks on it, and again problems.
The TFV4 is fantastic on it,and top filling.

an hour watching videos and rewicking the Zephyrus and it's still leaking everywhere. Once you get this working well it is exactly the same for the goblin. How are you currently setting them up? I cut my wicks for both at an angle and guide them down the juice channels before putting juice on, then with the bottom part of the chimney on I use a flat head to gently guide the wick to the corners and make sure I keep a large air gap around the coil. So far they have both been leak free? If you need any help just give me a shout.

I'm going to watch a few videos tomorrow and try and figure it out. It's just frustrating when you have been looking forward to this stuff arriving and then it all being > frustrating! I want a tfv4 soooo much. It's my next item to buy. The dripper is fabulous though. Sent from my Nexus 7 using proboards

Also I pit juice in after I have the wick were I want it. But I guess before or after doesn't matter to much as long as you have put wick in right place

Same thing happens to me with new tanks...The goblin, KFMonster, and Goliath all leaked so bad I thought it must be the tanks and I had to go out with tissue wrapped around the tank in case it started to pour juice while in my pocket. The monster turned out to be a loose center pin that once tightened the leaking stop. The other 2 were just a case of setting the wicks right. The video that decoy posted in the other thread is a good guide to getting them setup. I am not as aggressive with the scissors as that, but a bit of a trim is needed and maybe a prod with a tiny screwdriver after the chamber is screwed on to make sure the wick is in the channel.

Try the goblin mini collie2011 apart from very slight condensation it doesn't leak for me and that's with single Ni200 coils.

I persevered with tanks for a long time while all the time having my trusty dripper within sight I really cant be bothered with them, THEY ARE THE WORK OF THE DEVIL I TELL YOU!!! Still to find a tank that tastes as good as a dripper or a squonker

Ok, used a cheap bottle of pound shop juice to test, sick of wasting my good stuff. So far Zephyrus leaked initially but I think I over wetted the wicks and it dripped down. Goblin set up and no leaks so far. Got them both sat on kitchen roll just in case haha

If they aren't leaking in an hour I will risk taking one of them out with me to test run on my crappy Istick.

this is normal vape life I hate to tell thee collie2011it has one of two causes - (1) new tank/atty/dripper syndrome (requires lots of videos, lots of supplies and lots of juice for 2 weeks and lots of playing!!!) (2) Someone in your life praying you'll quit the vaping Or both!!!! Call me paranoid but those are my theories......

Anyone praying i'll quit vaping is wasting their time haha It seems I just needed to wick them differently, the pound shop juice is awful but at least it's letting me test run the tanks. It's 70pg juice and usually I vape 60vg juice, so if the thin PG juice isn't leaking, I would hope that the high VG juice won't leak
