I am as happy as a pig in shite! after reading all about Clapton coils, studying Utube Video's i knocked out a combined Ni200/Kanthal A1 coil coming out at 0.18ohm. I had been disappointed with the RBA performance on a previous build (normal Ni200) and had an issue either with the wicking or my build as i was struggling to get over 48w without TC cutting in far too early imo on the (Snow Wolf) So after practising a bit yesterday i made a couple of Claptons and was happy with the results, also switching at the same time to this Scottish Roll method of making the wick ( which was mentioned somewhere in the General section the other day) and by god what a difference, Now the TFV4 is currently rocking along with the Clapton coil at 60w no problem at all, even up at 80w its still fine, no more dedicated coils for this atty lol (running 2x25 R's) Off to study fused Claptons next

The tails went right down the juice channel, i made them slightly pointed and you can just see the cotton through the holes of the juice channel on each side. Dunno if they are ment to be that far down, but its working for me using Muji cotton

Never tried a Clapton coil so I have ordered some from a guy over on UKV.
I have been using my TFV4 with the supplied coil in the re-buildable base, fantastic vape but the b^gger keeps leaking from the air inlets.
Will have to recoil it as my problem may have been due to wick sitting on top of the channels. Will try again with wick going down into the channels.
