As above really. Really fancy one of these but don't want to have to buy a new mod just to power it. Most powerful mod I have is the smok m80. I admit, high power vaping scares me a little. I worry when the tank gets too warm etc. SR vapes will let you pick whatever coils you want so would go for the 0.5ohm ones plus the rba, use the included coils then just the rba and I usually build around 1.2-1.4ohms. vaping360.com/crown-sub-ohm-tank-review-top-filling-sub-ohm-tank-uwell/Looks at this review it seems even the 0.5ohm coils need 70-80w. So I thought is ask and those who have one what it was actually like?

The Smok m80 should be able to handle this easily. I have a Kanger subtank mini on a m65 and they do well together. It even looks good, blue mod, black tank.

I like the 0.5ohm coils at about 40W The 0.25ohm coils need a bit more power for me , but not more than 60W Your mod will be fine for this tank

Thanks!
I have a subtank mini but use the rba base and run that at about 20w.
Does the crown get particularly hot during use?

I was a bit freaked out by the sub ohm thing at first and am still a bit cautious so understand where your coming from Jerri. Not being a lung inhaler I tend to run at relatively low watts, I go mostly for 0.5 - 0.75ohm at around 20-25 watts, also am currently running a TFV4 with the 0.2ohm stock coil at 40 watts, it's fine, so would not have thought it would be a problem. PS very glad I got into sub ohm, flavour is fantastic!

I make twisted coils for the dripper and run those around 40w. Just after reading that review I thought I'd need a mod upgrade by my mind has been put at ease.

I understand the vapour will be warmer the higher I go wattage wise. I just don't like it when the tank itself gets hot.

Used my new uwell crown last night. Managed to vape this thing at 100w before the vape got too hot for me. I can say that yes at higher watts this tank gets super warm but as all tanks would at this wattage. Sweet spot for me last bight was about 60w but boy does it eat the juice at that point.
Still an incredible tank though. Best flavour i have had from a sub ohm tank.

I find most tanks get warm. Some like my lemo drop get hot. But with the small airflow it has its not suprising. Even.my billow gets quite warm fairly quick at 40 watts. Then again I don't have big lungs so cannot inhale as strong as most. So air cooling is less efficient

Have ordered one so just waiting for delivery.
Can't wait. Besides a few comments saying the rba is fiddly with wicking I've not seen a bad word said about this tank.
