Now officially classed as a non smoker

Tbh, I have n't told My GP that I'm not smoking anymore....My logic (?) goes like this:- the NHS 'Line' is that smoking causes all known deaths & illnesses....(if You were hit by a car they'd ask if You had a fag on at the time!)...therefore IF I get any coughs/respiratory troubles, I want them to treat Me as a smoker........as a non-smoker, I won't get taken seriously!

I'm really not trying to denigrate Your new official status as a non-smoker tho' M8!....It's a GOOD feeling!
It's just that I have this feeling that if I tell 'em that I don't smoke, they'll assume that I'm gonna live forever!!!!

When I saw my doctor a while back they asked if I smoke, I said I vape and they straight away put me down as a non smoker and congratulated me on kicking the cigs

So taking any medications that have nicotine in them, and there are a large number, would class you as a smoker. This would also mean that vegetarians would invariably be classed as smokers.
