Small 18650 mod

Hi everyone I'm looking at getting myself a small single 18650 mod. I've narrowed it down to between the ivp d2 and evic mini just wondering on which would be the better out or the two? I'm not over bothered about tc I'll just be using it in power mode

Going to throw a spanner in the works, thought about the clouper mini or miniplus?

I didn't think about the clouper mini plus do they have the same issues the original mini had?

I don't think they've been released yet, they've been on presale quite a while.

I've got an eVic VTC mini on order I looked at the D2 as well but the eVic looks to have better specs and better looking IMO

You can get them here not much more than China price but from the EU warehouse and quick delivery

I like the look of the D2 but the paint peeling issues put me off.

It was only the very early mini's that had a problem, I've only got a mini it is fantastic!
Gearbest have both at a good price, check the EU warehouse, not sure if they are stocked.With regard to the Mini's I believe the only bad ones had the authenticity code of 0000 as the first four numbers

I do prefer the look and extra power of the d2  but the charge lead and finish quality put me off I had an ivp2 and the finish on that was awful

That's were I've been looking but they only have the evic in white and blue I really wanted black but the white is ok

Own both and both are nice mods, as you're not using temp control its close....

+ D2 sits better in the hand, the Evic has a better screen.

- The D2 doesn't step down and the evic don't like long 510s, they don't sit flush.

both great for the money, think you're be happy with either or.....



Edit...yes the D2 doesn't use micro USB so I say evic mini....

Yeah I know. I wanted the black one ideally too but after looking at a few pics I was swayed by the white one. I also watched a review on youtube and the guy said the white one cleans up really well

I have the Evic Vtc Mini, I think I had the last black one on there haha

I have a friend that says D2 all day tho :/
I myself like the vtc mini the look and feel of it is great too its not massive

Evic mini. Got one recently to replace my old SX mini and not looked back
Battery life is really good and the form factor is great. Good for holding whilst driving as well...

Have yet to try tc with it
