I like my mods small its not that small tbh its not huge but about same size as 2x 18650 with a 18530 batt across the top tiss still nice in the hand and says upright when put down the main thing with the sig is how easy it is to swap throw the setting ie to swap from adjusting the wattage to the temp on mini invader you have to press the fire button 5 times then hold down th up and down button for x amount of time then you can adjust temp then you have to press the fire button 5 times before you can try it at wich point it swaps back to watts on the sig you just hold down the up down buttons for x amount of time and you can adjust temp and use it and it stays in temp adjust mode it made learning to use tc much less agro and a lot less sodding button pressing

Evic mini. Got one recently to replace my old SX mini and not looked back Battery life is really good and the form factor is great. Good for holding whilst driving as well... Have yet to try tc with it TC works fine when you get round to trying it

I've narrowed it down to between the ivp d2 and evic mini just wondering on which would be the better out or the two? I'm not over bothered about tc I'll just be using it in power mode Both those are the ones to have a short list for a tiny mod. I prefer the evic as it has a bit more style(especially in white). The D2 is stealth through and through. The actual size difference is 2-3mm taller for the evic but the evic is about 2mm narrower and slightly slimmer. Both work great in either mode, But once your used to TC then TC is the better vape, you just need to be less forceful when taking a draw...Its a more chilled approach to a consistent vape. Finish wise the evic wins hands down...been using the white on for several weeks and there is not even a scratch where the atty meets the mod so far.

Looks like you've got a TC build going on in that goblin. How did you get on with that?
I just received my VTC mini today and loving it so far. I put a goblin on mine to start with just to see how it is in power mode to start with. Seems to be performing admirably.
I got the bundle with the tank so going to have a play in a bit and see what all this temp control stuff is about... Also have some .2 NI 200 wire that I got as a freebie. Will that be any good for coiling my own builds?

Both the Full size goblin and the mini on the d2 have duel Ni coils in them. I must confess I have started using premade coils from FT www.fasttech.com/products/2993700 these fit the goblin & mini just perfect and using 2 the res is between .08 & .1 once fitted and trimmed. Its just so easy when the they are coiled the same with perfect spacing. Ill be getting more.

sonicflowjoe With the goblin you may need to file the post screws to get rid of any sharp edges that will cut the NI wire when tightening them up. I lost about 10 in a row before I got the file out to sort it.

hijack yeah the screws on mine are rubbish. I recoiled with kanthal earlier today and struggled a bit with them. Think i'll take your advice at some point and try filing them a bit. The one I have is a clone. Guessing yours is too as I've not seen the genuine ones coloured

Yes sonicflowjoe the one thing that's guaranteed with a clone, is the screws are going to need finishing properly.
