Is that for the twin 18650 mod Mark? My parallel box turned up yesterday and last night I had it all sorted! Still waiting on the buttons to turn up so have to make do with a crap one or now! Nothing as fancy as a voltage display, but basic button and LED is enough for the time being. 3.7volts never felt so good, and with twice the mah to boot. (2 x 3000 in this case!) Must admit though I'm having issues attaching the 510 connector. I've temporarily drilled into the rectangular opening at the top and it's wedged for now, but I have no idea how to make it more permanent? I can't imagine filling with hot glue would keep it tight after prolonged use? What do you do? Looking forward to the reader in place. Hurry hurry!

Giz you can make it more permanent - you can either drill a hole in a seperate part of the top or if you want it dead center (take the connection you have out) put some tape over the usb sized hole making sure its nice and stuck round the edges of the hole and from the inside pool in some epoxy resin - leave it for a day to set fully and then drill where you need it to be holding the connection in place with a little more resin afterwards Resin sets far far harder than hot glue i use a 2 part plumbers epoxy yup that's for the twin 18650's when the wire turns up - i got on/off rocker switches for the usb hole and the 510 connection is going to the left

It's gonna be HUGE... and a little bit fantastic Will this be variable voltage??? And are you stacking the 2 Batteries, in series? or running them in parallel to improve battery life? Is series dangerous? And is parallel equally as dangerous? Sorry for all the questions.

The box is a parallel 18650 box with enough space to get some serious components in. I imagine it will be VV, though unsure if it will be greater than 3.7v?, but will have the digi readout too. (Apologies Mark if any of this info is wrong) I have been looking forward to this mod! Even more so now that I've got the same box!!! Oh, and thanks also for the epoxy tip. Dependant on how yours looks when completed I may wish to add the digi display so may just hold off any permanent alterations for now

Tx gizmo - I'd figured most of that out, just want to know what the thing in the first pic is. Is it just a voltmemter, or does it do amps and ohms. Is it programmable? Most important, what is it called, in case I want to buy one

Most important, what is it called, in case I want to buy one I know what you mean! I think (not sure) it just measures voltage and I think I have a link for it somewhere? I'll be back!

It's a 2 wire led voltmeter which does 3.2 to 30 V DC and does not need separate power source..
The 3 wire ones need a 5V power supply for the LED's.
