Some info for mod builders

Just thought i would make any mod builders thinking of doing any dna40 large screen or 200's aware of some info ive just been given.
The factory that makes the screens has apparently had a major fire and is not expected to be back in production until the beginning of next year.
So guys handle your screens like they were gold dust cos at the moment replacements are.

So long as you sell them before February next year
I have a secret supply which is just as well as i broke two today, so i decided to call it a day before i did anymore damage.

Evolv stopped selling separate screens at lest a month ago and I know an ECF member in the states bought all the UK retail stock of spare screens (not many) it became wide public knowledge, 4-6 weeks ago.

|It is not just DNAs it is affecting other Ecig manufactures and products using OLED screens.

By the time it was confirmed and not just a rumour there were none available retail in the UK or US and I couldn't get any spares at that time.  The rumours I hear is that it is starting to bight now and will start affecting the availability of some products using OLED screens before too long, which eCigs I couldn't say but it will be some of the box mods.

I saw a mod maker put up a wanted on the Evolv forum this week offering upto $10 each and you used to be able to get them for something like $3 IIRC over there a few months ago.

i have a couple of spi 64 x 32 oled boards mounted on pcbs with dupont pins if u get desperate.. how do dna boards instruct their screens?? might mean even bigger boxes are needed tho..

Looks like I'll be moving over to sx350j for a while then, bet there's loads of them that need the dust blowing off the boxes

If they are not affected, which they probably will be just depends on how much stock they have, but the profit on those board is so huge they could a free tablet with each one.
